I get two warning messages "link... is inaccessible. Check the open basedir restrictions in your server's PHP configurations.

I had a look at your article https://www.akeebabackup.com/documentation/warnings/q101.html and am rather worried that it says the backup will not work if the message is displayed.

I contacted my host as suggested but they were not able to give support because the error message does not display the full path and could not tell which folders are restricted. They told me it was just a warning message and the back is successful but I don't want to take a chance.

my configuration.php shows it is unwritable and the permission is set for 444. Is this correct?

Support will be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

you can safely ignore that.
Starting from version 6.0.1 we're checking if we can actually visit a folder before entering it. This sometimes results in warnings about the parent folder of your web root folder. In that case you can ignore it, if you get the warning in any other folder you should investigate further or open a ticket here.
