Please look at the bottom of this page (under Support Policy Summary) for our support policy summary, containing important information regarding our working hours and our support policy. Thank you!

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:

I am able to save a backup to Amazon S3, but I would also like to save a copy to my local domain (/administrator/com_akeeba/backup/) folder.

Is this possible?
Is it really necessary because I can just as easily restore using the S3 copy?

Yes it is possible. In Configuration, in the Post processing setup, you have it set to delete the local copy after it is uploaded. Simply uncheck the field and the local copy will not be deleted.

Yes, you can easily restore from the copy on S3, so do you need it?
