I get the following error message :

Failed to process file /hermes/bosnacweb02/bosnacweb02ai/b1442/********/administrator/components/com_akeeba/backup/site-www.******.co-20181017-081422utc-to NAS**.jpa
Post-processing interrupted -- no more files will be transferred

even though I split the Jpa archive in chunks of 20MB

Hello,

I can see in your log that there is a space before the NAS part. Can you please try to remove it and check if it's working?
Moreover, inside the post-processing settings, can you please try to flip the state of the option Use passive mode?

Hello,

I tried with and without passive mode. This yields the same outcome : upload fails

Where should I look now ?

I'm afraid that the communication between the two servers is blocked.
There's a slight chance that the remote server is blocking the creation of files larger than a certain threshold: can you please try the last time with a part size of 5Mb?
Otherwise I'm afraid you'll have to use a different post-processing engine.
