Despite the fact that I am already on 6.3.2 I nevertheless get daily mails that I should update Akeeba to 6.3.2

Hello,

Akeeba Backup notification plugin fetches the info back from Joomla system.
Can you please clear your update cache and site cache and search for updates once again?
That should allineate your site cache with the versions of the software that are actually installed and solve your issue.
