Description of my issue: I went to upgrade my Joomla core version and the auto backup failed. When I tried to run the ALICE troubleshooter, I was taken to what looked like an admin page but all it said was Error: An error has occurred. 404 Component Not Found (see attached). When I clicked return to control panel, the error page refreshs to the same thing.

I cannot get to any other page in the backend of the site or even logout.

The backup stopped because it could not write to the backup archive. The error looks like you ran out of disk space. Please double check your available space.

I think fixing the space issue will probably fix your back end as well.

That's odd as I am usually pretty on top of that. I deleted some old backups and I am back in business. Thank you.
