Hi,

Is it possible to configure Akeeba back up to back up the whole site except 1 directory?

To give this some context - I have an online store that sells downloadable music. The directory that contains the music files is around 70gb in size. Ideally, I'd like to be able to back up the whole site except for this directory.

Thanks in advance.

Kev,

That can be easily done. Go to the Akeeba Backup Control Panel, to the Include and Exclude Information section and select Files and Directories Exclusion. You'll see a list of folders and files. You can choose to exclude the directory itself or the contents (sub folders and files) of the directory. Sometimes this is an important distinction if your download program serving the music expects the directory itself to be there. That should do it!
