Hello,

I'm using Akeeba Backup Pro v6.6.0 with joomla 3..9.12

The error_log file has the following errors:

PHP Warning: "continue" targeting switch is equivalent to "break". Did you mean to use "continue 2"? in /home/......./public_html/libraries/f0f/dispatcher/dispatcher.php on line 524

Same error also exists in the following lines:529,534,539,552,561,566,580,609

Is there a solution to the error?

This message cannot possibly come from Akeeba Backup 6.6.0. It is the FOF 2 library that we were using before Akeeba Backup 5.0.0. In fact, FOF 2 is an obsolete and no longer maintained since June 2016. Of course being obsoleted before PHP 7.3 was even announced means it doesn't supported.

HOWEVER! All versions of Akeeba Backup since late 2016 are using FOF 3, the latest version of which is compatible with PHP 7.3. I don't know where your message comes from but it's not from Akeeba Backup 6.6.

Thank you for your interesting.

If I forward my information, can you check this problem?

Not really. The server only reports where the deprecated PHP construct exists, not what called it. I would have to basically take a backup of your site, restore it on my dev server which has far more detailed error reporting, try to reproduce the issue (which is a problem in and of itself since you don't know where the issue comes from or how to reproduce it) and then work my way back to figure out which obsolete or third party software is causing this issue. This is complicated and time consuming work that's very well outside the scope of our support. Moreover, my Internet provider has left me without an Internet connection for the last month because I moved houses and they still haven't sent someone over to connect it. I don't have enough data cap to download big backups so that's a no go as well :(
