Please look at the bottom of this page (under Support Policy Summary) for our support policy summary, containing important information regarding our working hours and our support policy. Thank you!

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:
I was able to use Akeeba Backup on my old hoster without any prop problems.
Now I have moved the page to a new hoster and wanted to set up the backup again.
Unfortunately I get the error message "AJAX Loading Error". Already tried all points in the Troubleshotter document - without success.

Hope they can help me.

Let's see what debug will tell us. Please open kickstart.php in a text editor and look for the line
//define('KSDEBUG', 1);
at about line 39. Remove the two leading slashes ("//") from that line and try Kickstart again. This time you'll get a text file in the root of the site, please zip and post it here.

Good morning

in the meantime, I was able to locate the problem:
The two PHP.INI parameters
max_execution_time = 90
max_input_time = 90
were set at 30s and that was definitely too short.

With the values 90s the backup runs through.

Thanks and the ticket can be closed.
