Hi,

This is not a problem yet, just a question:

I Akeeba Backup there is now this message: "Akeeba Backup will stop supporting your version of PHP very soon."

I totally understand that 7.1 is out of date. But my Hoster where I have most of my sites has been in the process of upgrading for several months, saying it is much more difficult than expected, and it will take at least another couple of weeks before I get a newer version. I would switch hosting, but it would be a major effort and not paid by my clients, and otherwise I've been happy with this hosting for >10 years ...

So I just hope "very soon" does not mean "within days" for you.
Thank you.

Regards,
Ralf

Hello,

don't worry, we're not going to bump up minimum PHP requirements anytime soon.
Maybe we will do that in the winter, but I'm not sure. As long as your minimum PHP version is above 5.6, you will good to go.
