Please look at the bottom of this page (under Support Policy Summary) for our support policy summary, containing important information regarding our working hours and our support policy. Thank you!

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:
I have gone through other articles but they do not seem to relate. Below is the error I am receiving:

For your information, the last error message was:

<strong>AJAX Loading Error</strong><br/>HTTP Status: 504 (Gateway Timeout)<br/>Internal status: error<br/>XHR ReadyState: 4<br/>Raw server response:<br/>

I have never seen this before until recently. Also, Hostgator will not allow a higher version of PHP at the time which is odd.

The 504 error usually indicates a server level error. The server itself had a problem. It may be just a momentary thing, if you try again it may be fine.

I really can't be more specific without the backup log. Please zip and post your log file and I will be able to see where in the backup process the error occurred. That may give more information about what is happening.

Dale,
The backup finally finished and seems much bigger than the other backups. We have not added much stuff either which is weird.

I have attached the log file for your viewing - thank you!

I don't know if this is what caused the increased size, but I'd be willing to bet you don't need it in your backup:

Dale,
You are correct with that zip file.
