I updated Akeeba Backup to v7.1.2 the day it was released. Today, I tried to backup one of my domains using the new version of Akeeba Backup but received this error multiple times:

"The backup operation has been halted because an error was detected.
"The last error message was:
"Akeeba Engine detected a problem while saving temporary data. Please restart your backup."

I stopped the backup and checked the Summary (attached) I checked the provided link, opened my host account | File Directory (Rochen) and found that the .htaccess and webconfig files promised are present in the appropriate folders per the help link; ("Akeeba Backup and Akeeba Solo include a .htaccess (for Apache servers) and web.config (for IIS 7 and later servers) for the default backup output directory which disallows direct browser access.")

I logged out of my domain and Rochen, closed Firefox, reopened Firefox, opened the Admin backend and started a new backup.

No dice. This time, I downloaded the log and have attached it here. In the meanwhile, I cannot use Akeeba Backup and I'm not happy about it.

I've attached the files to which I alluded in my forum post immediately prior.
