Joomla! version: 1.5.25

MySQL version: (unknown) 5.x
Host: (optional, but it helps us help you) http://cmp.es q
Akeeba Backup version: (unknown)

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:

The command line backups of this site have not worked during many weeks. Last week I got afraid we had been hacked and to my dismay there were no current backups on S3. Luckily I was capable of doing a backend backup and transfer the site to another server. I was very pleased when I saw that the site had not been hacked.

I have been having this similar issue for months: unable to back up and I keep receiving a 500 Internal Server Error. I've gone through the troubleshooting, but nothing has worked. HELP!

Attached is a screenshot of what I'm receiving. Thanks!

I forgot to mention that this Web Site is hosted in a reseller account on Host Gator and I do not know if resources are capped. On my server I do not have problems.

@CherryIR Please start a new thread and provide all the information requested, including your backup log file. Otherwise please do not expect to receive any support.

@biogpoo You sent me the back-end backup log file. If the backup has started at all, it should have created a log file for the "Command Line" origin. I will need that. Otherwise, it means that your backup CRON job is not working on the server. In this case, what is the output from the CRON command line? You should be receiving that every day, when the command launches. If you do not receive anything, please check that you do have a CRON job correctly set up and that it is starting normally.
