Hi I already provided my download ID in the component parameters but still get the same error....

JFolder::files: Path is not a folder
ERRORNOTFINDJOOMLAXMLSETUPFILE

Invalid package type. The update can not proceed.

And also clicking the Direct download URL http://joomlacode.org/gf/download/frsrelease/16218/70411/com_akeeba-3.3.10-core.zip?dlid=(download_id_here)?dlid=(download_id_here)

displays an error "Invalid parameter count"

Any ideas?

Hi,

I think that you have one of the older releases where the Live Update feature was broken. In this case, please come to AkeebaBackup.com, log in and visit https://www.AkeebaBackup.com/latest. This will allow you to download the Akeeba Backup Professional 3.3.10 installation package (which can be used for new installations and upgrades alike). Then go to your site and install it, without uninstalling the existing Akeeba Backup release. This will upgrade your installation of Akeeba Backup. WARNING: Under no circumstances should you uninstall the existing Akeeba Backup release; doing so will lose all your settings.
