Hello,
I am trying to transfer a website from a live testing domain to the final domain, so a new domain name and a new host.
I uploaded with filezilla to the 'new' host the backup file (created with Akeeba) and the kickstart.php file.
When typing after the new domainname /kickstart.php though, I get this error message:

Akeeba Kickstart Professional – Insecure setup detected

Akeeba Kickstart has detected that its file name is kickstart.php. Please change the file name to something which does not begin with kickstart and ends with .php. For example, you could rename the file to myexample.php Then you can access this file by replacing kickstart.php with the new name in the address bar of your browser.

So i changed the name into dienkickstart.php.

The prgramme sarts running now, but after a while I get e new error message saying:

An error occured
AJAX Loading Error
HTTP Status: 502 (Proxy Error)
Internal status: error
XHR ReadyState: 4
Raw server response:
Proxy Error

The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.
The proxy server could not handle the request POST /dienkickstart.php.

Reason: Error reading from remote server

Do you know what to do next?
Regards,
Dien

PS backup file too big (>10mB) so not accepted by your server

Kickstart Pro has some features that Kickstart Core does not have, but we do not need them in this case. Please try again with Kickstart Core. You will not need to rename it, that only applies to the Pro version.

Hello,
Thanks!
I replaced the kickstart.php with the one out of the kickstart core folder.
Now the extraction starts running but after a while I get this error message;

An error occured
Invalid header in archive file, part 0, offset 153040690.

Kind regards,
Dien

Dien,

That may indicate a corrupt backup archive. Will the archive extract successfully on your local computer using eXtract (from our Downloads page)? If is will, that's good news, we have a good archive but your live server is killing the extraction because it is using too many resources. There are a couple of ways around that.

If it won't, then the archive itself is damaged and we need to change some settings on your existing site and do a new backup.
