Is it possible when a ticket is closed that an email is sent to both the user and to the support staff that a ticket has been closed ? I know that a cron job can be set up to auto close tickets.

Hello Alexander,

we didn't implement it to avoid flooding the users and managers with notification emails.
Most likely you would end up receiving two notifications: one for the reply and another one for the ticket being closed.
This would confuse the users and annoy the manager, that's why we didn't implement it.

Regarding the auto close script, it will post a reply and then close the ticket, so users will always get a notification.
