Hi,

I am trying to override the following mention "Akeeba Ticket System - Préférences" on the particular screen where a new customer does create his account (the place where he can create his signature).

I cannot find it in the front end language file, only in the administration one... (Joomla! language override system)

Could you please tell me where I could make the changes and how ?

You actually need to change the backend language string BUT set the override type to front-end. This is one of Joomla's weirdnesses.

The reasoning is mind-boggling. The language string you are looking for belongs to a plugin. For historical reasons, plugin language files are stored in the back-end of the site. That's why the language string appears as a back-end one.

Joomla! 3 added the ability to create and manage language overrides through its interface. Frontend overrides are only loaded in the site's frontend. Backend overrides are only loaded in the site's administrator backend. So even through the string is classified as backend (because it belongs to a plugin) you must create a frontend override, otherwise your override would not be loaded in the frontend where you actually want it.

Yes, I understand just how confusing this is. I am a developer who knows that stuff and I had a major "what the heck" moment when I was creating language overrides for our own site. Like you, I had a plugin language string and I forgot to set the override type to frontend. Yeah, not the best usability paradigm there, Joomla :/

And Yes, I totally agree with you ! It's a bit confusing, but I understood that I have to create this entry in the frontend override.
Haven't even thought about such a solution...
