 Hi!

After 2 tries, I've been able to install ATS 3.0.0 but I get this error message:

Warning
Joomla\CMS\Filesystem\Folder::create: Could not create folder.Path: /modules
Extension Install: Failed to create folder: /modules/mod_atsstats
Package Update: There was an error installing an extension: mod_atsstats.zip

This new module can't be installed. I checked the perms and everything seems ok.

I am using AdminTools. Could it be possible that AT is blocking some administrator/modules?

Thanks!

dlb
Admin Tools shouldn't block the installation. It may, under some circumstances, block the operation of a module.

Just to be sure, you can disable the System - Admin Tools plugin to stop the Web Application Firewall, and swap your .htaccess file with htaccess.txt (the standard .htaccess file that Joomla! ships with the CMS). That will take Admin Tools completely out of the picture.

I did what you suggested and same problem: the module cannot be installed.

dlb
That proves it isn't Admin Tools blocking the installation. I'm sorry but I don't have any suggestions on what the problem could be. The installer code is core Joomla! code, you might ask in the Joomla! support forums.

May be the installer code is core Joomla! code BUT I made a test on the same site where ATS is installed and installed Acymailing, EasySocial, EasyDiscuss, EasyBlog (quite big apps) and some smaller more too AND I got no problem while installing any of these apps.

So??

dlb
My apologies, I was on the wrong path. Let me see if I can get Nicholas or Davide to take a look at this.

No hurry. I rolled back to 2.4.4 ;-)

dlb
Thank you for your report! There is an error in the manifest file for the module. Davide was able to confirm the error. It may be early next week before they can publish a fix because Nicholas is going to be out of town.

Excellent!

Tks!

The error is fixed in the 3.0.1 version, released today.

Once again, thank you for your report and for your patience with my misdirection.
