Joomla! version: (unknown)
PHP version: (unknown)
MySQL version: (unknown)
Host: (optional, but it helps us help you)
Akeeba eXtract Wizard / Remote CLI / SiteDiff version: (unknown)

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing the Remote Control and Akeeba Backup log files if you are reporting an Akeeba Remote Control issue, othrewise we can not help you. Remember that your attachment must be a ZIP file! Other file formats (including .txt) may be silently rejected by our site.

Description of my issue:
A new area for me. Installed php. included the remote.phar in the same directory. using the command: php remote.phar I get the following error message:

Strict Standards: Non-static method RemoteUtilsRender::renderHuman() should not
be called statically in phar://C:/php/remote.phar/utils/render.php on line 37

I have change one of the php info file to php.ini

editied for example thus:

extension=c:/php/ext/php_bz2.dll
extension=c:/php/ext/php_curl.dll

Not really sure if this is correct ? (I had a bz2 error before I set the path above)

Was happily using The Remote application but though is does a backup the download is always
incomplete. File size is alway 80.

So now trying to get to grips with the CLI version - steep learning curve.

Akeeba Backup an Admin Tools great products use them on a regular basis.

Best Regards,

Peter Maguire.

Hi Peter,

The php.ini changes look correct. The notice ou receive is just a cosmetic error, you can ignore it.

Regarding the download, can you please paste the command line you are using and attach the 80 bytes file? I think that you are using the "http" or "chunk" download method and a SEF or other extension on your site is blocking the request.
