Hi,

I noticed that old backup files are not deleted when a max number of files is entered in the configuration of the profile ("erase old backup files if more than max number") when using JPRemote.

Is this by design or am I doing something wrong?

This seems to be an issue with all methods of front-end backup, including using the XML-RPC plugin. It's not a bug in Remote itself, rather than in the JoomlaPack component. I am working on it and it will be fixed on the next release.
