Hello,

It seems I can't make local playlist on AVR.
I can only create a playlist with distant media (youtube, etc).
Those local videos (.../images/stories/videos/video.xxx) all work in a module or an article, and I did tick the "playlist" field in the settings, but none is eligible for a playlist creation.
I tried several extensions, mov, avi, mpg, but none is available.
If anyone has a clue, I thank him warmly in advance.

There are many components that store paths in their own configuration files that need to be adjusted after a restore to different server. Check the All Video configuration to see if it is still looking in the right place for your videos. :D

Well I checked and it isn't my problem.
Besides I've never transfered or restored my site ; I did one in local, and redid it online, and the playlist just wouldn't work either ...

Thanks for the clue though :p

The next thing to look at is file permissions and ownership. This assumes that the playlist is saved as a file, not a database record. Can the folder where All Video wants to store the playlist be read and written on the new site?

Hum it's in the same folder than the video themselves(.../images/stories/videos/ ).
The file is saved in xml.
Also I'm not sure I understood what you said but this didn't work in local either so I don't think that it would be a problem of permission and ownership.

I apologize, I have been approaching this wrong. I thought this was an issue that resulted from a restore to a different server, so I was looking at things that would change in the migration, permissions and paths, etc.

This forum does not get much community activity, it is mostly JoomlaPack team members solving issues related to the JoomlaPack component. You may have better success solving an AVR problem in the Joomla! third party forums. The AVR website itself is on JoomlaCode and their forum seems pretty small. I don't know how active the development team is in their support. I don't use AVR so I don't have any particular knowledge about that component.
