Hi
My host has recently upgraded his MySQL and PHP version, so that the CRC are not calculated successfully, though it was doing so earlier. However, the backups take place to completion, but I cant 'unzip' them after downloading, because of numerous "file is corupted" msgs.

Under this circumstance, if I use JoomlaPack eXtract, will it do the extraction correctly? Or do I need to go in for JPA files as backup?

And, under this circumstance, will JoomlaPack remote work correctly?

Feature request: It would be great if JoomlaPack eXtract had an option to extract the source file to a subdirectory in the source directory itself, with the zip/jpa filename( without extension) as directory name.

The zip CRC32 calculations requires the hash module. I don't know if that is the actual name of it, that is what I remember from Nicholas' comments. Maybe they would like to add it??? :D

eXtract and kickstart will both ignore the CRC errors and extract the files. Some zip clients have a "keep broken files" setting for just such a situation.

I'll flag the thread for Nicholas so he can see your suggestion.

eXtract can't create a new directory if it doesn't exist, that's why this feature wasn't implemented. On second thought, it doesn't sound that hard, so I'll try to implement this.
