Hi, thanks Guys for the brilliant JoomlaPack Remote - it works brilliantly for me (and saves me lots of time)!

I have a question, however. Having set up quite a few of my sites in the interface, is there any way to export these settings and import them into a fresh installation on another PC, instead of having to start from scratch?

Thanks again.

dlb
The recent versions of JPRemote store the settings in a SqlLite datbase. Look in your profile folder for /Local Settings/Application Data/JoomlaPack Remote for the file jpremote.s3db. I'm a little fuzzy on the exact path, because mine is running in Wine under Linux. :D You should be able to move that file to your new machine and save your settings.

Hi Dale,

Thanks for the reply.

That worked a treat (and saved me an awful lot of work!).

Regards

Alan.

I hear that! I had to reenter all of mine when we switched from xml to the SqlLite database. I'm glad to save someone else the hassle! :D
