 Hi,

I have used Akeebla Backup Wordpress to move http://gramafina.com/ to http://disenopaginaswebpanama.com/grama and, as you can see, the character set has changed and my Spanish characters do not show correctly.

What could have caused this issue?

Thanks,

Mike

Hello Mike,

When restoring the backup archive there are two options in the Site Setup page called Database Charset and Database Collation. Try setting the Database Charset option to
utf8
and leave the Database Collation empty.

Do you mean the Configuration page?

Thanks,

Mike

No. I mean when restoring the backup. The second to last page in the ANGIE installer script is Site Setup. In there you'll see two fields called Database Charset and Database Collation. Try setting the Database Charset option to
utf8
and leave the Database Collation empty.

No. This page here: https://www.akeebabackup.com/documentation/solo/angie-wordpress-setup.html

Database charset. Set it to utf8
Database collation. Leave it blank.

This is the page shown AFTER the database restoration page you are talking about.
