 Hi

I am experiencing a problem installing Joomla modules. It's not every module, for example I can install Jomsocial but not K2. It feels very much like a database problem. But it's only happening with Joomla 3.6.2

The error is.

Warning

JInstaller: :Install: Error SQL SQL=
Extension Install: SQL error processing query: DB function reports no errors.

I have tried lots of things but still no joy.

I have Admin Tools version 4.0.1 and tried fixing the problem with no luck. Do you think Admin Tools pro could help?
Sorry to ask such a long question but I am at a loss as what to do next.

You should contact the authors of the affected extensions. We had seen this kind of issues with Joomla's database processing on extension updates since almost six years ago and we found adequate solutions for our own products. It's not something that can be fixed with Admin Tools or any other extension. It's something that each extension developer has to do with their own extension.

Thanks for the reply. It ended up being a major server hardware problem. So it was no wonder I was unable to understand what was happening. But thanks again.

Cheers
