I am desperate. Joomla 3.6.5 and I cannot find how to turn off email notification when global settings change. I'm getting a bunch of emails and it really isn't necessary. I know this is a joomla thing, but I have been searching multiple ways for 2 days. Since you do tons of work on core joomla I thought you might be able to help. Pulling my hair out.

thanks

This is a actually an Admin Tools feature introduced in version 4.1.0. Please go to Components, Admin Tools, Web Application Firewall, Configure WAF, Joomla! Feature Hardening Options. Set "Monitor Global Configuration" to No. There's also an option for component configuration, i.e. "Monitor component configuration", you might want to modify.

For what it's worth, it's not a good idea modifying core and component configuration multiple times a day on a production site.
