 Hi, I am wondering if Akeeba Backup for Wordpress is compatible with Wordpress 4.6.10?

I checked the compatibility chart on https://www.akeebabackup.com/compatibility.html and it says compatible with Wordpress 3.8+ but as this is remarkably similar to the current major version of Joomla (3.8+), I just wanted to be sure that it wasn't a typo.

Is Akeeba Backup for Wordpress version 3.0.1 compatible with Wordpress 4.6.10?

It is not a typo. We make very light use of core WordPress APIs. The minimum version of WordPress our software will run on is 3.8. So yes, WordPress 4.6 will work just fine.
