Hello Nicholas,

when I try to renew an click under "My Subscriptions" ->"Renew" Button then my Company Invoicing Data from the past automatically fills in, thats great :-) ... but the system applies at VAT Number:

"VAT number is not VIES registered or the European Union VIES system is currently out of service."

The problem comes from Germany, not Akeeba or the EU. When I try to validate your VAT at http://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/vies/vatResponse.html I receive the error message "Member State service unavailable. Please re-submit your request later".

I guess you have to wait a bit. It's very likely that they are doing some kind of maintenance since it's a Sunday evening. If the VAT doesn't validate today you may have to retry tomorrow morning.
