 Hi,

I want to restore a site backup on an existing site in a subdirectory but the restore starts time after time in a loop.
I can enter all info and the database is retored but then a blank page shows up and the proces starts again.

kind regards,
Danny

Danny,

Is the restore prompting you for the site name, etc. and when you try to load your site it starts the installation over again? If so, you need to rename or delete the /installation folder. This is normal behavior.

If you're getting a blank page after the database restore is finished, that's a little harder. Since you said this is in a subdirectory, make sure you do not have an .htaccess file in a folder above where the restored site is located. Just rename it for the time it takes you to do the restore.
