Your server is running a very old of PHP (it looks like PHP 4). Please contact your host and ask them to enable PHP 5.3 by default on your site.

If your host claims that they're using a newer version of PHP: they are not. They most likely can use a higher version of PHP if you ask them but they don't by default.

Thanks.  It's 1and1 so I just added a .htaccess with AddHandler x-mapp-php6 .php and it worked.  I appreciate the quick response as always!

Just curious - May be off topic but do you know anything about numothersock?  The reason I ask is I'm running  a VPS though hostgator and this particular resource keeps going through the roof taking down my entire server instance.  I know you're the Akeeba guy and not my personal tech but I'm at a loss and they can't seem to help.  I just need someone to tell me how to test and possibly fix it.

Thanks

You're welcome!

No idea. Doing a Google search came up with this http://forums.vpslink.com/linux/394-you-hitting-socket-resource-limits.html Maybe it helps.

Thanks - Upond further research it's JCE - it's been hacked on a couple of domains running Joomla 1.5.26.

At least thats what Hostgator is saying.
