 Hi there,

we backup our Homepage to a backup domain. For this we use Akeeba Kickstart Pro 5.3!
So i have the (Live)Homepage and one backup Homepage. Everything was working allready!
The Akeeba Backup is Working and i have now one .jpa and 17 .j01-.j17 files. When i now want to restore this backup to the Backup Domain with Akeeba Kickstart Pro 5.3 i get an "error" (Invalid header in archive file, part 7, offset 1114812975)! Our Site-Backup is about 35GB big. Could this be a Problem? Because i have old backups with 16GB and this is working with the Kickstart.

Sincerly yours

Hello,

the size is not much of concern, the real problem are the contents of the files. Most likely there is a log file that gets truncated during the backup process.
The best way to identify the file is to enable debug mode in Kickstart.
Open the Kickstart file and locate the string:
// define('KSDEBUG', 1)

remove the two slashes so you uncomment such line.
Then run the restoration again.
A new debug file will be produced. Please zip it and attach it here, it should give us the indication of the corrupted file.

Ah ok, I got whats going on.
Please add the following code after the starting <?php tag:

define('KSDEBUG', 1);

In this way you should have the debug log.

Seems the error is happening after extracting some files in the download folder.
Can you please try to exclude such folder and try again?
