Cannot restore backup due to 'Invalid Database Key' error.

Database Support also says NO in the pre-install check. Not sure about this though, as a site was running on this account immediately before trying the akeeba restoration. So database support is obviously available.

"Suppress foreign key checks" option does not help.

Please advise. This is the first akeeba procedure I have tried. I'm hoping it's just some initial config issues...

Hello,

can you please double check that the option Allow UTF8MB4 auto-detection is unchecked?
I suspect you are trying to convert some to UTF8MB4 a column that is too long.
