Hello everyone,

I'm trying to restore my Magento2 Akeeba Solo backup but it stucks in Initialising process, see attachment. After successfully file extraction, I can't restore Database. Process stops with Message: "Please wait while ANGIE is checking your site and server configuration".
I tried the same on localhost xampp server with PHP 7.0.8 but same issue.
Maybe a bug in version 3.3.x? Previous versions didn't have that kind of issues.
I tested restore process on Akeeba Backup Professional 6.3.1 for Joomla, without issues. Seems like it is only happens on Akeeba Solo.

Kind regards,
Alex

Hello,

In your Solo installation, can you please double check what's the ANGIE installer you are embedding inside your archives? We removed support for Magento 2 dedicated ANGIE installer, so you should use the Generic one for your Magento restorations.
Once the restoration completes, you'll have to manually update the configuration of Magento for your new server.

Hello Davide,

yes, it was set to Magento 2 as I expected to be best choice for a M2 shop. Now, after setting "ANGIE for Miscellaneous PHP Applications" as restauration script, new backup restore process went fine.
You should remove Magento2 option to prevent issues like mine as soon as possible, if it doesn't work correctly.

Thanks for your help.
Kind regards.
