Dear support team,

maybe it is a silly question, but I found no solution on my own ;-(
I transferred the backup from
https://www.musikserver.news to
https://www.dacc.news
that was really easy and everything works fine.

But when I click on the menu item which is marked a start item ("Aktuelle Beiträge") both urls are added to the address datafield of the browser:
https://www.dacc.news/https:/www.musikserver.news

All other urls are ok. I checked the configuration.php file and the variables are correct:
$fromname = 'www.dacc.news';
$live_site = 'https://www.dacc.news';
$sitename = 'www.dacc.news';

I searched for the string "www.musikserver.news" in .htaccess and configuration.php, but did not found it.

I have really no idea where the url https://www.dacc.news/https:/www.musikserver.news comes from.

Hoping someone has a hint for me even if the mistake has nothing to do with akeeba but something to do with joomla itself.

All the best

Markus

Dear support team,

great that another user sent me a hint regarding sef404.
If the base url of a page is wrong in any case, check the sef404 configuration -> advanced -> homepage url.
After setting this value the problem is solved.
So it realy had nothing to do with akeeba backup or kickstart...

All the best

Markus
