EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 10MiB, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

There is no place to enter the key in the akeeba pro update site. see attached image.

I tried deleting the update site for pro  and reinstalled but still no place to enter the key.

Please advise.

Some additional info. The website had akeeba backup pro installed last weekend. Since then I had to restore the website with a backup prior to Akeeba Install. I reinstalled Akeeba Backup Pro, and it says that I havent entered a key. When I go to the update site for Akeeba Backup Pro, the key box is missing.

Go to System, Update, Update Sites.

Search for Akeeba Backup.

Select all records and click on Actions, Delete.

Install Akeeba Backup Professional twice in a row, without uninstalling it before or in between.

Kindly note that if your administrator/manifests/packages folder is not writeable, or at the very least the administrator/manifests/packages/akeebabackup folder and/or administrator/manifests/packages/plk_akeebabackup.xml file is not writeable, Joomla! will silently fail to install the extension package manifest which contains the line that instructs Joomla to display a field for the Download Key.
