Joomla 4.0–4.2 did not support conditional custom fields (displaying a field depending on the value of another field) but Joomla 4.3 does. We had made this functionality possible in Akeeba Ticket System 5 with our custom Content – Akeeba Ticket System Custom Fields Show–on Behavior plugin. This plugin will be removed by the end of 2023. You will need to migrate the conditional fields to the native Joomla 4.3 conditional fields format.
Migrating conditional custom fields to the Joomla 4.3
Upgrade your site to Joomla 4.3 or later.
Make sure the Content – Akeeba Ticket System Custom Fields Show–on Behavior plugin is enabled.
Go to Components, Akeeba Ticket System, Fields.
Edit every conditional custom field. For each field, cut the contents of the Show On option in the General tab and paste them into the Showon Attribute in the Options tab.
Disable the Content – Akeeba Ticket System Custom Fields Show–on Behavior plugin.
