Admin Tools version: 2.1.14

Description of my issue: I got the following error message after updating to 2.1.14:

PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined method AEPlatform::load_configuration() in /vsites/xxxx/httpdocs/administrator/modules/mod_akadmin/mod_akadmin.php on line 112,

I could not bring up the admin section of my site until I manually disabled the mod_akadmin module via the database.

You were very close to determining the cause of the problem, but not quite :) The error message comes from Akeeba Backup's module (not Admin Tools) and is caused by an incomplete upgrade, meaning that mod_akadmin hasn't been successfully upgraded. You actually have to delete the mode_akadmin directory and install Akeeba Backup 3.3.10 on top of your existing installation to fix this issue.
