Mandatory information about my setup:

Have I read the related troubleshooter articles above before posting (which pages?)? Yes
Have I searched the forum before posting? Yes
Have I read the documentation before posting (which pages?)? Yes
Joomla! version: 1.5.22
PHP version: 5.2.10
MySQL version: 5.0.4
Host: Self Hosted (Win2K3 IIS6)
Admin Tools version: 2.22.a2

Description of my issue:

I subscribed and downloaded Admin Tools over the weekend (after realizing that I was getting hit by SQL injection attacks). Thank you so very much for this set of tools!

Of course I downloaded and implemented an alpha version in error, however I am willing to leave it in place as the site has extremely low traffic at site's live beta stage.

I have swept through the features and have tested most of the tools. Below is a list of some minor items I have noted (I have
one other question I will post separately):

1. WAF/Administrator IP White List (Joomla v1.5.22)
Apply button saves the current entry, and then displays an empty form (to continue adding), but the apply process for the second and any additional entries overwrites the previous entry added.
Recommend removing apply button since the save&add button works correctly.

2. WAF/Site IP Blacklist (Joomla v1.5.22)
Apply button saves the current entry, and then displays an empty form (to continue adding), but the apply process for the second and any additional entries overwrites the previous entry added.
Recommend removing apply button since the save&add button works correctly.

3. WAF/Anti-spam Bad Words
Publish and Unpublish buttons appear (Joomla 1.5.22)
Apply button saves the current entry, and then displays an empty form (to continue adding), but the apply process for the second and any additional entries overwrites the previous entry added.
Recommend removing apply button since the save&add button works correctly.

Also ... Once saved the updated word list is not shown until the applet is exited and re-entered (from the WAF level)

4. WAF/Security Exceptions Log
Publish, Unpublish, Edit and New buttons appear (Joomla v1.5.22)
Documentation does not show these buttons (screen shot) or defines their use.

5. WAF/Auto IP Blocking
Edit and New buttons appear (Joomla v1.5.22)
The buttons cause a 500 error if used.

6. Tools/Fix Permissions
Should have a warning / ok to proceed button

7. Clean Temp-Directory
Should have a warning / ok to proceed button

8. Purge Sessions
Should have a warning / ok to proceed button

9. URL Redirection
Has two back buttons (Joomla 1.5.22)

Hi Stephen,

1, 2, 3: Apply works on all of my J! 1.5 installations. Not sure why it doesn't work over there. Which browser are you using? I'm testing with Google Chrome, updated today. Note: I haven't tested on IIS yet, it's proving itself to be a major PITA to set up even when using Microsoft Web Platform Installer :( I need to find a quiet day to try installing it again.

6, 7, 8: I never had a confirmation there and I frankly don't think one is required. Following the same logic, Joomla! should have confirmations on all Delete, Publish and Unpublish buttons, but it hasn't.

Everything else is fixed, I'll post a dev release tomorrow.

I tested those under IE8 and Firefox 8.something

They are minor, I just wanted to offer my input as I feel this product is very well done and deserves the attention.

I have written a Method Of Procedure (MOP) for installing Joomla 1.5 on IIS6 since I have to do it every so often. I'd be happy to forward it to you if you think it might be helpful.

Hi Stephan,

Sorry, Firefox 9.0.1 works here. Same goes for IE9.

Regrading IIS, my problem is that I can not reliably install IIS on my Windows Vista virtual machine. Once I do that, installing Joomla! on it is a piece of cake.
