Description of my issue:
Hello. I have used default joomla permissions for my site 755 for folders and 644 for files. After installing Admin Tools Professional 2.2.5 i sometimes get this error:

Warning: file_put_contents(/home/stalmira/public_html/steelstyle.com.ua/administrator/cache/com_admintools.updates.ini) [function.file-put-contents]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/stalmira/public_html/steelstyle.com.ua/libraries/joomla

also the error displays in admin page of Admin Tools Professional 2.2.5.
what permissions should I set for the file?

Have you enabled the FTP options in your site's Global Configuration page?

You have to set up Joomla!'s FTP options in the Global Configuration. Please remember that permissions all by themselves mean nothing. It's ownership and permissions which define who can write to which directory and file. For more information and a crash course on ownership, permissions and how they matter in a web server environment I strongly recommend reading Akeeba Backup's "Security Information" chapter. It may take a few readings for the information to really set in. Once it does, you will immediately understand why you need to enable Joomla!'s FTP options in your site's Global Configuration page.
