Description of my issue:
Not a problem, but a suggestion for an additional feature for "Permissions Configuration".

Would it be possible to have a "recurse into subdirectories" - for example if the the directory has to be set with 775 (rather than 755), then all subdirectories should also be set to 775. I'm using SugarCRM and it crates directories with protections that mean the user can't use them and I'd like to be able to run Admin Tools to fix all the subdirectories. Currently I've had to set the default permission for all directories to 775 and I'd prefer to put it back to 755

Cheers

This is a potentially problematic feature. In order to do that we'd have to recursively list the subdirectories and the subdirectories of each one, in an infinite level deep. If there is a big nesting level this can cause a memory error and/or a timeout. The only thing this doesn't happen when setting permissions is that the operation runs in multiple steps. This is not an option when setting custom permissions.

OK - just thought it would be useful to incorporate this in the same way the FileZilla can do it

Since FileZilla is a desktop application it doesn't have to worry about server timeouts and memory limits. Unfortunately, since Admin Tools runs inside a web server and has this restrictions, we do have to worry about that :(
