Mandatory information about my setup:

Have I read the related troubleshooter articles above before posting (which pages?)? Yes
Have I searched the tickets before posting? Yes
Have I read the documentation before posting (which pages?)? Yes...WAF
Joomla! version: (2511)
PHP version: (5.3.18)
MySQL version: (5.5.28)
Host: (cloudaccess)
Admin Tools version: (2.5.6)

Description of my issue:
I have gotten in last week 50 security exception logs that all reference:
template= in URL http://www.mysite.com/index.php/component/mailto/?tmpl=component&template=mytemplatename&link=152bce6128f665dd818f154fa547a5deda7cf50a

They most all are msnbot-65-55-55-229.search.msn.com-type references.

I have ALLOW SITE TEMPLATES set to YES.

The weird this is that all the templates referenced in the security logs are no longer used and have even been deleted from my Joomla install. No exceptions have come through that reference an existing template that i am using. I do have email icon visible in some articles page layouts.

Is this something to concern myself with or is there a setting i need to change to negate these issues?

Thanks for any help.

Have you considered the fact that someone is taking the links from a cached version of your site in a search engine?
