Hi,

I was unlucky enough the other day to click on the "update" button offered by Admin Tools to upgrade from 3.1.1 to 3.1.2.
After discovering this, I "downgraded" back to 3.1.1 :
https://www.akeebabackup.com/home/news/55-general/1525-joompa-2512-312-updates.html

A few minutes ago, I received this notification
"An updated version of Joomla! is available.
Joomla! version currently installed: 3.1.1 Joomla! version available for installation: 3.1.4"

I suspect it is the samed problem.
I just wanted to share the information just to help others not to make the mistake of upgrading (the other day, for my "3.1.2" upgrade, I had seen no ticket reporting a problem and at first I hadn't seen the news above).

Yours,

Marc

My excuses, Nicholas :-)
Given the fact the 3.1.2 was a "mistake of Joomla" only a few days ago, I was really not suspecting a jump today to 3.1.4 ;-)
Txs for your quick reaction, and above all, txs for your extensions !

Yeah, it's complicated. 3.1.2 was an accidental release which broke the Joomla! Update component. They released 3.1.3 which only fixes the updater for 3.1.2 sites and 3.1.4 which is 3.1.2 correctly release. The 3.1.3/3.1.4 release happened on the same day. I told them it's the wrong way to do it, it will confuse people and increase support requests for me... and it looks like I was right. *sigh*
