ok thanks

after looking more it seems that there is no 2.5.11- to 2.5.14

only

Joomla_2.5.x_to_2.5.14-Stable-Patch_Package.zip

this might be the issue but this is the first time that i have seed the 2.5.x to newest file..

Just not sure if this is the correct one as it all the FILES..

The latest policy of the J! project is to only have patch files from the previous version and from the .0 version of the series, e.g.: 2.5.13 to 2.5.14 and 2.5.x to 2.5.14 (equivalent to 2.5.0 to 2.5.14). But it doesn't matter. Just use the Joomla! Update component and it will figure out which one must be downloaded.

Ok this is what I did.

I turned off all the Admin Tools programs via the Admin section. (then once it worked turned admin tools back on)

And then ran the update from Joomla update screen.. (as it then turned off your admin tools for the joomla update screen - no more admin tools logo, and backup.)

and it worked????

I had lots of sites to update but this was the only one that I had an issue for..

As we have already announced Admin Tools' Joomla! update feature will be removed in the next release.
