Description of my issue:


I am seeing the same behavior noted in ticket 15207, which is an error regarding a redirect loop. However, it is directly related to one component, MijoShop. I have not seen this behavior in other components with Admin Tools.

The only major difference between my joomla install and a stock one is that I have moved my configuration.php outside of the web root using defines.php.

Hello Jerry,

just to be clear, you have a redirect loop when you try do access the component MijoShop from the backend, right?
I don't know if this is related to Admin Tools, however you can try disabling yout htaccess file by renaming it.

Yes, the back end. The front end seems ok. I will disable backend protection and see if the problem disappears.

Ok I just tried. Results:

If I disable backend protection, I still see the same problem. If I move the .htaccess file to disable it the problem goes away.

Ideas?

Redirect www and non-www adresses

mhm.. i think there are some conflicts with other components.
You get the loop just when you access the backend or only when you get inside the MijoShop component?

Let's say, can you get inside the article manager?
