Admin Tools is compatible with Joomla! 2.5.6 and any later version in the 2.5.x series, Joomla! 3.1.x and the to-be-released Joomla! 3.2.x. As a result you can use it with the latest Joomla! 3 version which, at the time of this writing, is 3.1.5.

Even though Admin Tools will run when other security extensions are installed we strongly advise AGAINST it. We regret to inform you that we cannot provide support when multiple security extensions are installed as there is no possible way for us to know if a problem occurs because of a setting or bug in our software or third party software. Furthermore, installing multiple security extensions will only make your site slower, not more secure. Please pick one.
