Mandatory information about my setup:

Have I read the related troubleshooter articles above before posting (which pages?)? yes
Have I searched the tickets before posting? yes
Have I read the documentation before posting (which pages?)? yes
Joomla! version: (2.5.1)
PHP version: (unknown)
MySQL version: (unknown)
Host: (optional, but it helps us help you)
Admin Tools version: (2.5.8)

Description of my issue:

I updated my Admin Tools version to 2.5.8 and it looks as if none of the CSS is coming through, and it also doesn't work. I simply followed the update link.

Please install Admin Tools twice without doing anything in between the two installs. Do not uninstall the compnent since that will lose all of your settings. Please let me know if that solves the issue.

Can't unfortunately - this is what I'm getting

Warning: Failed to move file!
JFolder::create: Could not create directory
Unable to create destination

I need to ask Nicholas about this. It is pretty late in his part of the world, we probably won't hear from him until morning.

It appears that the problem is that the update failed. The error message:

JFolder::create: Could not create directory

means that you have an ownership/permissions issue in one of the directories and you need to enable the FTP layer on your site. Please refer to the "Enable FTP" section of https://www.akeebabackup.com/documentation/troubleshooter/abinstallation.html
