Joomla! version: (unknown)
PHP version: (unknown)
MySQL version: (unknown)
Host: (optional, but it helps us help you)
Admin Tools version: (unknown)

Description of my issue:
I tried to block different IPs via blacklist in the settings of the firewall:
for example I blocked on IP-Adress by writing:

146.0.74.100-146.0.74.255

But after that someone with the IP-Adress: 146.0.74.202 tried again to get access to the backend of my website.
Why?

The attempts may show in the log even though the IP address is blocked. Login attempts, for example, are handled by Joomla!'s login code and process before Admin Tools get a chance to kick in. So there is an entry in the log, but then Admin Tools gets to block access. What I'm trying to say so inelegantly is that it gets logged before it gets blocked.
