Just a quick question if I may:
The setting "Allow administrator access only to IPs in Whitelist" has three option:

1. ---
2. Yes
3. No

What is the difference between '---' and 'no'?

There's no difference. The '---' is there to remind you that you have never set a value for this option. This way you can never say "But I swear I had set it to Yes, why did it 'suddenly' change to No?". Rumor has it I spent hours chasing inexistent issues like that...
