I need some more information about what you are trying to do when you get this error.

JUser: :_load: Unable to load user with ID: 42
This one is a little strange. I think you are trying to edit the Admin user, but I would expect a 403 error, not a JUser error. Check Admin Tools, Web Application Firewall, Configure WAF, under Joomla! Feature Hardening Options, set Disable editing backend users' properties to no.

Dale thanks for the quick response.
Right now I cannot add or edit users. I get an error
Admin Tools, Web Application Firewall, Configure WAF,
there are three search boxes?? Not sure what I am missing??
Please see attachment.

the other error is under
Super Administrator ID
JUser: :_load: Unable to load user with ID: 42

It also says
Congratulations! You are already using a secure Super Administrator ID. Click on the Back button to return to the Control Panel page.
again under Super Administrator ID

thanks again!

You are one screen too far. You are under WAF Exceptions instead of Configure WAF. When you get to Configure WAF, I'm pretty sure the instructions I gave you above will fix the problem.

The Super Administrator ID is a non-problem. You have already successfully changed the ID, that function can't be done twice. The purpose is to change the standard ID 42 that Joomla! used in older versions. That makes it harder to find your Admin user.
