The emails that I have been getting from my site telling me to upgrade are out of date. Here is an email that I received today 2/17/14::

Why does Admin Tools essentially want me to downgrade? Am I missing something?

I'm a little confused, it has been some time since Admin Tools had the Joomla! update feature. I know it does not exist in 2.6.0. There is a new component, CMS Update, that takes over where the Admin Tools plugin left off. Is it CMS Update or Joomla! itself that is giving you the wrong information?

The full email I received is pasted below. The reason I am posting to this forum is because the email says, "If you are the person who built or manages your website, please note that you
activated the update email notification feature during Admin Tools' first run,
by clicking on a check box with a clear explanation of how this feature works
printed under it."

I find these email's very useful, I don't want to disable the feature all together. I just need the feature to be accurate.

That is coming from the Joomla! Core notification. Sometimes the version gets stuck. You can press the update button, then in the Options settings, change to the Short Term Support setting, save and close. You should see the 3.2 update versions now. Go back in and change to Long Term Support, save and close. It should now tell you that you're up to date. Changing the setting in Options forces an update to the stored version so that should fix the problem.
