I recently see that Bad Behavior will sometime catch legit MSN Bot and ban is IP.
IP : 199.30.20.5 Neighborhood
Host : msnbot-199-30-20-5.search.msn.com
Looking around, I also see that many people was complaining on the crawling abuse of the Bing MSN Bots gobbling gigabytes of traffic, slowing down sites and even bringing the site down as the server turn off the site thinking that that particular site was under attack.
Now, I’m not sure what to do. I need MSNBot on my sites to appear in Bing/Yahoo. AdminTools is doing is job and probably block the bot because is having a “Bad Behavior”
I know I can whitelist the bot, but what about the “Bad Behavior”
Not sure how to take that?
